Aly Haddad is currently the Music Director and member of the piano faculty at Rockin' Robin Music Lessons and River Oaks Music School. He began taking piano lessons at the age of 5 and went on to attend the High School for Performing and Visual Arts in Houston, Texas with a focus on piano performance. He then continued to earn his Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Houston Baptist University and his Master of Music in Music Production, Technology, and Innovation from Berklee College of Music, Valencia, Spain campus. He has taught music lessons for many years and is able to mentor students at any learning level and create lasting relationships with them. Having studied music for many years, Mr. Haddad understands that a music education grows not only a skill, but also a well-rounded person.

Roysan Easo began his career in education by tutoring students after school in 2009, so he understands the importance of matching students to the perfect instructor for them. He is also currently working towards a his bachelors degree in mathematics education. He has always loved music and grew up appreciating the music learning process because he watched older brother work to become professional musician and music educator. Having taken lessons himself, he is able to usher new students into the process. Moreover, he loves plugging people into the community at the school so they can realize their music goals.
Guitar, Voice, & Piano Instructor
Nikkita Zuberbier has a degree in Music Education with a focus on Elementary Education from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. She has had the honor of studying under Dr. Lynn Brinkmeyer, the former President of the The National Association for Music Education and Ms. Cheryl Parrish, soprano at the Austin Lyric Opera. Her first instrument is Voice, but she also plays and teaches the guitar and piano to young students. She has been teaching since 2007, and has been a member of the Rockin' Robin Family since 2013. She incorporates classical techniques as well as popular repertoire, and finds it very important to integrate modern music and teaching methods into her curriculum.

Rojan Easo is one of our vocal and piano instructors. He has been a professional singer since 2007 and teaching piano since 2012. He holds a Bachelors of Music in Vocal Performance from Houston Baptist University and has been an instructor since 2010. Mr. Easo welcomes all age levels and specializes in the following genres: opera, musical theater, choral, jazz and R&B. He has been an understudy for the Gilbert and Sullivan Society’s production of “Iolanthe” and played Charlie in Alice Parker’s opera “Family Reunion”. He was a member of Houston Baptist University’s Schola Cantorum for 5 years.
Piano, Voice, & Early Childhood Instructor
Alecia Stringer is a professional music educator with a love for the joy and fun in learning and growing through music. Alecia graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2001. Since she started teaching piano in 1999, she has taught in several states including Kentucky, Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Texas, and Tennessee. Alecia began playing and studying piano at the age of eight. While living in Arkansas, she directed performances and concerts, and prepared students for all-state choir auditions and performances, and had several students in the all-state choir. She also created and organized a piano keyboard program, which she used to teach keyboard classes. Alecia instructs through a method that is a unique, innovative and enjoyable way for students of all ages to learn. This method helps students achieve goals faster-learning note reading, consistent counting and growing through creative thought skills in each lesson. It's exciting to take a beginner through advanced levels with this same method. Inside Alecia Stringer's teaching philosophy, she always helps other's find their real passion and music fun inside their training.
John Chupin has been a professional musician since 1985. John has toured nationally with the New Jack Hippies Fall Tour in 2001 and has performed in most major venues in Houston and events such as Party on the Plaza, Arizona Blues Festival, Shriner’s Big Band and the Steven’s and Pruitt Boy’s Ranch Fundraiser 1998 at the Renaissance Hotel. He has performed with a jazz band (including Mike Wheeler) for the Methodist Hospital Children’s Benefit and many other community affairs. Additionally, he has appeared with three different bands at the Houston Press Music Awards in 2000 and has been featured on more than 10 records during his time as a recording studio musician. He received national recognition in Relix Magazine (Volume 17, No. 1) for having played on Moses Guest’s first record. He is able to perform and teach styles including rock, hip-hop, funk, jazz, blues, reggae, Latin, tejano, country, western swing, and gospel.
Kevin Farley graduated from Houston Baptist University with his Bachelor of Piano Performance in 2014, and is working towards a Masters in Mechanical Engineering. He has assisted in master classes, music history, music theory, sight-reading class and performances with the Ethos School of Music. As a teacher, he prides himself on being able to tailor to each student's needs. Kevin has been at Rockin’ Robin Music Lesson since 2010 and has been teaching privately since 2009.
Guitar, Mandolin, Ukelele, & Voice Instructor
Dan Barfield has studied and played guitar for 45 years, and has been an instructor for over 10 years. Dan specializes in acoustic and electric guitar and teaching rock, country, acoustic rock, folk, Celtic, Bluegrass, popular, R&B, Delta Blues, slide guitar, open and alternate tunings, flat picking, Piedmont style picking, and much more. Dan is also a singer-songwriter and is currently recording at White Cat Studios recording an album with the Western Sky Band. Dan currently is a performing musician and plays weekly with the Mitch Jacobs Band. Dan is also a vocal coach in the aforementioned styles of music. Additionally, he teaches songwriting skills and techniques.

Kortney Johnson has been a professional singer for the past 10 years and holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Houston Baptist University, Kortney is the soprano staff singer at Grace Presbyterian Church. Past performances include many in operas and musicals and great choral works Such as Dido in Dido and Aeneas, Anita in Westside story, Aunt Ella in Alice Parker’s Family Reunion, Ida in Honk ,Donna Anna in Don Giovanni opera scenes, The mother in Amahl and the night visitors And one of the Soprano and Alto soloist in the Messiah. Kortney welcomes all age levels for voice and beginning levels for piano and specializes in the following genres: Opera, Musical theater, choral, jazz, and gospel style.
Ruthie Morris has been professionally playing guitar since 1999 and instructing with Rockin' Robin since 2009. She has a BA in Classical and Jazz Performance from the University of Houston with an emphasis on composition and also holds a degree in Audio Engineering. She specializes in classical and rock styled guitar. She has worked with Houston's Classical Guitar Ensemble and dedicates time to multiple charities in the Houston area while currently working on her own studio album.
Drum, Guitar, & Piano Instructor
Joshua De Leon has an Associates of Arts degree in Instrumental Music from Alvin Community College and has composed and performed for the Alvin Community College percussion ensemble. He has taught private lessons as well as percussion classes at Danbury High School under the supervision of the head band director. Individually, he has given drum set, marimba, piano, and guitar lessons to various different students since 2012. “Teaching music comes with a plethora of awards. Just seeing someone become a musician because of you is truly magical. Music is a great gift and I feel it is a musician’s responsibility to share it.”
